Review: Luminesce Advanced Night Repair

I have always liked night creams because there is something so nice about a cream that does all the hard work for you while you're asleep. A lot of people wonder why they can't use their day cream at night, and whilst there is nothing wrong with it, most day creams now contain SPF and there is no need for that at night. I also think that if you have a day and night cream they will have different features and it's best to use them as directed.
The Advanced Night Repair from Luminesce is one of the best night creams I have ever used. Once I opened the box I knew it would be fancy since it has its own spatula to scoop up the goop. The square silver and blue packaging is also beautiful. The 30ml size is pretty standard when it comes to night creams and after five weeks I am almost halfway through the jar.
I really like the gel-texture of the Advanced Night Repair and my skin responds very favourably to it.  At night after cleansing and seruming I apply a pea-sized amount of cream and it's enough to cover my face and neck. It soaks up straight away and leaves no greasy residue. If I am going out one night I wear the Advanced Night Repair as a base instead of a primer. It works so well and leaves my skin looking healthy and glowing.
The goal of the Luminesce Advanced Night Repair is to slow down the ageing process, correct any previous environmental damage and fortify your skin for the future. By supporting natural self-rejuvenating mechanisms during the night, your skin is left renewed, rejuvenated and hydrated. It's also paraben-free and hypoallergenic which gives it more ticks in my book.

Some of the key ingredients include the LUMINESCETM skin vitamin complex which is a powerful blend of Vitamins A, B, C and E which adds antioxidants and replenishes the skin. Apple, Lentil, Watermelon and Cucumber extracts which locks in hydration. Hyaluronic Acid to plump up the skin and soften its appearance.

After using the Advanced Night Repair my skin appears healthier, more hydrated in the morning when I wake up and my skin repairs itself faster. The results are very impressive and I have enjoyed seeing the transformation on my skin. The Advanced Night Repair is exxy and it retails for $79.15. I am estimating that I will get between 8-10 weeks out of it so when you divide up the cost per use it's not too bad, but it is still a significant outlay for the wallet. For stockists check out the Luminesce website.

Which night cream are you using? Do you like them fancy or more affordable?

  1. I have never heard of this brand, but it sounds lovely! These days I really do think you get what you pay for. x

    1. I totally agree Chelsea. This seems like a never-ending moisturiser because I've still got some left after three months use. Love it:)
