Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer

There is a new lippy hybrid in town and it is brought to you by the geniuses over at Rimmel London. The Apocalips Lip Lacquer collection has a creamy and conditioning formula to ensure your lips stay glossy whilst still being moisturised. The level of gloss in the Lip Lacquers is fantastic for a shine addict like me, and you are guaranteed to make an impact thanks to the lipstick-like pigment in the eight shades that are available. The Apocalips collection is fronted by the current Vogue Australia covergirl Kate Moss and she looks stunning as always.
The design of the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer is really cool! I like that it is rock-star black but you can still see which pop of colour you have decided on. The lid also has a point of difference with its angular gem shape.
The swatches will show you how creamy the Lip Lacquers are. They are also incredibly pigmented and you don't need to apply much to make an impact. There are eight shades in the Apocalips Collection and they are (left to right): 501 Stellar, 303 Apocaliptic, 201 Solstice, 102 Nova, 101 Celestial, 100 Phenomenon, 600 Nude Eclipse and 701 Stargazer. The colour range goes from va-va-voom to subtly neutral so there is a shade for every occasion.
The applicator of the Lip Lacquer is just perfect. It gives enough coverage without dispensing too much product. This is 501 Stellar which is one of my favourite shades. At work I have been rocking the beautiful nude 100 Phenomenon and it is a fantastic everyday shade. I like that the Lip Lacquer leaves my lips glossy whilst still being hydrated, although I would love it to be a litte longer lasting. The scent is also very pleasant. I have definitely found my new lip favourite!
The Apocalips Lip Lacquer is available in stores NOW and retails for $15.95. You can find it in Priceline, Target, Kmart, Big W, selected Coles and Woolworths and selected pharmacies.

Run don't walk.
