Willow for Dermalogica - Limited Edition Clutch

To coincide with Sydney's Fashion Week last week (which Zoe Pocock from Nail Rock flew in for), Willow and Dermalogica teamed up to launch an exclusive gift with purchase. Regular readers will know that I am a crazy bag lady so I was never going to resist the buttery soft leather or the gorgeous nude shade of this clutch.
It's not a big bag but perfect for a cocktail party or as a beautiful touch-up makeup bag. When you open the bag you are met by a nice and oval mirror so it is really handy on the go. I have been using it as my lipstick bag and it is working a treat. I am being oh so careful to not spill anything on the clutch because it is so nice!
With the clutch I also received two samples from the Dermalogica Age Smart Range.  The Multivitamin Power Firm (5ml) is a "powerful firming complex" for the lip and eye area. It features some of my favourite Vitamins - A, C and E and I'm looking forward to trying it! The other sample I received was the Multivitamin Thermafoliant (15ml) which is a "powerful skin polisher with unique thermal technology". It sounds very fancy and I am sure it's a beautiful exfoliant.
To qualify for the clutch you had to spend $100 in one transaction. I have used Dermalogica for many years and am very familiar with the brand so it didn't take me too long to decide. I needed a new eye cream so after a lot of thorough testing + advice from the very helpful sales assistant, I decided to go for the Multivitamin Power Firm which is also part of the Age Smart Range. It costs $68 for 15ml and a little goes a long way. I recently learnt that I have been using far too much eye cream when I have been applying it and I'm now getting used to reducing the amount of cream I apply. The Multivitamin Power Firm smells amazing and it features Vitamin A, C and E to improve elasticity and smoothness. I will let you know how I go but I am pretty sure I am in good hands with Dermalogica.
I also needed a travel kit because I have been travelling so much lately and I want to use products I trust when I'm on the road. I also somehow have been managing to forget either a moisturiser or a cleanser when I'm packing and therefore I thought it would be good to have a kit where it's all there. The upcoming weekend is the first weekend I am going to be home for over six weeks. Crazy huh?

The Normal to Dry Skin Kit ($50.50) has some of my favourite products in it. I love the Multi-Active Toner, the Special Cleansing Gel, the Skin Smoothing Cream and the Gentle Cream Exfoliant. They are all wonderful and are products I can trust whilst travelling. As usual, a little goes a long way and all Dermalogica products have a 24 month expiry date from opening which is very handy. I also received a travel tube of intense eye repair and a sample of the skin hydrating masque and the precleanse.
Dermalogica is available from authorised salons and David Jones. The brand has also recently reduced their prices in Australia to reach more parity with overseas which is a great thing. Yes it is an investment but quality skin care often is. Then again, I'm going to show you quite a few budget items in my next post about my AM skin care routine. Stay tuned.

Happy Thursday!

Xx I
