The Birthday Wrap-Up

It was my birthday on Monday and I had a wonderful day! I ended up having three massive days in a row with celebrations, cakes and fun. I wouldn't want to have it any other way!

Day 1 started at a local lawn bowls club where we were attending a friend's surprise birthday party + we were meant to lawn bowl. I was excited because surprise parties are always fun and I have never lawn bowled before. Whilst the surprise part went off without a hitch, unfortunately it was raining too much to do any bowling. We had great fun anyways and started drinking right on 12 o'clock.

I wore an H&M blazer, a Cotton On flag shirt, River Island Jeans, hot pink Converse shoes and my nails for the weekend were painted with Kourt Is Red-Y for a Pedi from Nicole by OPI.

My arm party was a white Hermes bracelet, a navy anchor bracelet from Accesorize in Oslo and the third bracelet was an early birthday present from two of my girlfriends. It's by a Norwegian jewellery designer called Cecilie Melli and I absolutely adore it.

On Sunday afternoon we were at it again with another celebration. We went to Bondi Icebergs and met up with some friends and it was such a beautiful afternoon. I wore the same H&M blazer as above, my pink Coach bag, my new River Island dress from ASOS and heels from Wittner.

It was my first time wearing midriff cut-offs and since I was feeling a little pale I made sure to apply some bronzer to my sides. It felt really strange to do it but it gave me the natural tan I was after.

Bondi was fresh, beautiful and full of big waves!

I was spoilt with a gorgeous birthday cake, 26 candles and serenaded with Happy Birthday. So fun!

Once Monday rolled around and it was actually my birthday, I was kind of fatigued. I put on my best Sportsgirl crown and got on with my day. The cardi is from Billabong, the top is from Bardot and the skirt is from Forever New.

I also got a beautiful cake from my boss and it was so rich and delicious! One slice of that was enough to put anyone in a sugar coma! I didn't mind working on my birthday because the weekend had been so good and we watched the Oscars all day so it was more entertainment than work.

Gus also wanted in on the princess action.

In the evening we went out for dinner with one of our favourite couples. We went to a new restaurant in our area that serves my two favourite foods; Pizza and pasta. It's kind of like Brazillian barbeque except they bring out the pizza and pasta instead. It was delicious but definitely a carb overload!

I wore my crown, bow earrings from Forever New, a dress from Dotti, a bag from H&M, shoes from Rivers and my bracelets were from Equip. I love the gunmetal colour, it just goes with everything!

We enjoyed some lime caprioskas at the restaurant before moving onto red wine. For dessert we ended up at our local frozen youghurt place which felt like a healthier option until I added toppings like pretzels, malteesers and Oreo cookies.

I had a wonderful birthday and received some amazingly thoughtful presents! I was just in awe. I'll be doing a seperate post on them just to do them justice.
