Happy Valentine's Day!

On the day of hearts I like to do a small gesture but I never know what to expect in return. Last year I was surprised with roses and pancakes so I kind of thought this year would be a carbon copy. I stayed up late last night until after my man went to bed to make sure I could make him some heart shaped cookies. I basically made a quick chocolate chip cookie dough and moulded it inside heart cookie cutters. Too easy!

I was so overwhelmed by what Mike had put together. Overwhelmed indeed! 

He had photos from some of our trips and experiences together developed and I love the photo frame too. Such a great idea and super thoughtful!

There was also a good-looking box waiting for me. Hm, I wonder what could be inside?

Heart-shaped donuts of course! I'm actually not sure if they still are donuts if there is no hole in the middle but I am not complaining at all. They look delicious but we're saving them for dessert tonight. Donuts for breakfast is way too full on.

I was also given my favourite happy juice, with the exception of a green smoothie. So good!

My card was super sweet and it had been written so beautifully and again, very thoughtfully.

There were also roses. Seeing as I love glitter and flowers, this is the perfect combination for me!

Now I'm off to work but my day has definitely gotten off to a great start!
