Moving on, I have been on an oil burning spree lately and I love it. For Christmas Mike and I got a couple of great oils from his parents and we have been burning them non stop lately. Since I didn't have an oil burner I bought a starter kit from In Essence and got three more oils so now we have five to choose from on a daily basis. At the moment I am burning sweet zanzibar which is just divine! When we were recovering from our jetlag I made sure relaxing lavender was on high rotation.
The Orange pure essential oil is "a pleasant uplifting oil which restores the spirit". It can also releave headaches and sleeplessness.
The Essence of Australia aromatic oil blend has Australian sandalwood, lemon scented eucalyptus, melaleuca and citrus. It truly captures the Australian beauty and the scent is incredible.
The Lavender pure essential oil is the one I've used the most and it truly relaxes you. It also provides releaf for coughs and colds so this is a great oil to have around when winter rolls around in a few months. It can also treat mild acne and it's a truly versatile oil.
The Breathe Easy therapeutic blend is perfect for me. It relieves symptoms of sinusitis, colds, flu, hay fever and more. The perfect recovery blend.
| The silk scarf was a $5 thrift store find. Got to love that! |
I haven't just been burning oils, I have also been using the Meditate Body Butter from Natio. It is yoga scented with nag champa attar which from what I can tell is a divine incense. It is a thick body butter and it is meant to aid your body in achieving a relaxed state ready for meditation. The plant based ingredients are sesame, neem, brahmi and turmeric which promotes glowing, healthy-looking skin. Bring it on! With Sesame, Neem, Brahmi and Turmeric to promote glowing, healthy-looking skin.
Another versatile oil I've been using is the Lanolips Herbal Treatment Oil. This was the only thing that made me moisturise my body when I was in Norway because I needed a quick fix since it was so cold. I also use HerbalOil on my face when I need a moisture boost. It features lanolin, pine oil and eucalyptus oil and the blend is just gorgeous and fresh.
I am also spoiling my hair with the Organix Macadamia Oil every night too. It's the perfect mix to combat the salty sea swims and bright sun exposure that are currently happening.
Are you an oil burner too? Have you seen Honey Boo Boo Child?
