Beautiful Skinvitals Cloth Masks + a Book Recommendation

I love a good cloth mask, but since SKII is a little out of my budget at the moment, I thought I'd find something more affordable. The other day I found some cloth masks made by Skinvitals in Priceline and I went ahead with my purchase. There were six face masks to choose from and I went for the T-Purify one because I am currently treating a little breakout. I got the value pack which has 3 masks in it for $10.49 which is great value. I can feel that this is going to be my new addiction.

At night I cleanse my face, apply the mask and relax for 15-20-30 minutes. It's just so easy and great for those weeks/months when facials are too expensive. After the mask is removed and discarded, any excess product can be applied to the face as a serum. So far I am having great results and I am looking forward to trying the other masks which include brightening, anti-pigmentation, Q-lift and more.
I also went for an Eye Brightening Mask which cost $4 for a single pack but would also be $10.49 for three masks. It is beautiful to wear and so low maintenance. Just cleanse your face first and add the mask. The mask uses Vitamin C and Licorice (my favourite lolly) to treat the under eye area and to reveal brighter peepers. I am going back for the value pack today because the brigthening mask works really well.
And what have I been doing when I've been relaxing and wearing the mask? Reading this amazing book by Jussi Adler-Olsen called Mercy. It kept me on the edge on my seat the whole time and I could not put it down. Amazing! It's available on Kindle or Bookdepository.co.uk with free shipping. I highly recommend it.
Just quietly for when you wear cloth masks, give the people you live with a little warning so that you don't give them the fright of their lives unecessarily. It's good fun around Halloween, but not for the 364 other days in the year.

Are you a cloth mask fan? Have you read Mercy?

  3. I really love these too. Also LonVitalite do beautiful masks too. I'm a huge fan of cloth mask because they are so damn easy. No making up a mask yourself or getting it everywhere. They are fool proof :)

  4. I had a good laugh at the thought of you scaring people with your cloth mask! Mum did that the other day with a black mask I gave her, lol.

I haven't actually tried SkinVitals yet but it's on my list!

    1. Haha, yes I've done it many times. I therefore do my best to make sure I warn people in my apartment when I wear it. My boyfriend is getting used to it though. I might get him to try one once as well, just for fun;) X

  7. It is a good mask and seems to be effective however this is the first time I have purchased this product and I found that one of my masks came without serum (it was litteraly a dry cloth) and the second one came with what seems to be ALOT of serum. Now I am yet to try the third mask so I am unsure if this amount of serum is normal. I may purchase however all I can say so far is thag yhis product is very inconsistent.

    1. Hi Brittany:) I haven't had an issue with inconsistency but I imagine that it can happen. I use at least one a week and I often bring them on my travels too. I find that they are always on the more serum-infused side and it's good because after the cloth is discarded I leave the serum on under the moisturiser. I'd say that you've just been unlucky:(.

Let me know how you go gorgeous X
