A Little Chop Chop from Brown Sugar Hair

On Saturday morning I went to a newly opened hair salon in my area which is called Brown Sugar Hair. I was really happy with my experience and I was definitely due for another haircut, it had been over five months since my last one. Time flies when you are busy! I loved my time at Brown Sugar Hair and was also pleasantly surprised to be surved a little Turkish Delight with my morning coffee.
The haircut was more of a trim and I made sure to keep my layers blunt because it makes my hair appear thicker and happier. I am a big fan of the blunt chop. Because I was going to an engagement party later in the day I requested a swishy blowdry to complete the new hair. My hair was lightly blowdried before being teased a little and then the old ghd was used for some curls and volume.
I have also decided that I am not going to colour my hair for a while. It is starting to grow out quite naturally and it is almost like an organic balyage. I will probably change my mind soon but I am currently very happy with my two-toned hair. It has also been quite a while since I last had my natural hair colour and I am excited to see what it will be like. Hopefully it won't be a boring mousy brown colour.
On another note, I am so excited about my upcoming trip. In exactly three weeks and one hour I will be on a British Airways plane headed for London. After two days there we will be heading to Norway, which will be gloriously cold and beautiful at the same time. Woohoo! I have so much to do before then but at least my hair has been sorted out and I even took the time this morning to spoil my follicles with a gorgeous Organix treatment to avoid split ends. Here's to hoping for a happy and healthy holiday season.

  2. I am currently doing the same with my very blonde hair. I have about three inched now of my dark blonde natural colour and I am loving not having to sit through the colour time at the hairdresser's and how healthy my hair is because of it!

The cut looks great. Have a fab trip x
