My Current Top Three Favourite Travel Products.

I have just returned from a three week mission away and whilst I've had a great time, it is also wonderful to be back home. I did my best to bring as little as I could and I quickly realised what my top three items were. Because I didn't bring a hair dryer (travelling lightly and all), I loved using my Tangle Teezer as both a hair brush and as a detangler and hair styler. The smooth and straight hair was also a bonus. Another treat was the Golden Ointment from Lanolips which is just sensational. I used it on my lips, hands and cuticles and I always made sure it was in my pocket. I also brought along a couple of Apivita express beauty sachets and I have to say, they are just marvellous. The express beauty with cereals smells beautiful and has a few soft grains in a lovely creamy mask. The mask also feels really cool when applied and it is a wonderful sensation.
Here is the mask on the left and I do think it could work very well as a cheap and easy Halloween costume because it is fun to have a creamy white ghost face. As the mask sinks in the cereal grains remain on the face like little flecks and it is a fun effect.

The Golden Ointment is on the right and it is just so, so rich. It took me a while to get used to it but I love the consistency now. It contains over 60% lanolin, Vitamin E and Manuka Honey. So much goodness and I want to make sure that I always have this in my kit in the future.
Other notable mentions would go to my new perfume, Dolce & Gabbana's Rose the One and Original and Mineral's The Power Base Mini which kept my tresses in check.

I am now staring at a big suitcase to unpack, lots of laundry to be done and three issues of Grazia to catch up on. It's great to be home but I wouldn't mind having a laundry fairy come and help me with everything.

What are your favourite travel products? Do you have a laundry fairy?

Xx I

  3. Tangle teasers are the best for travel! Mine was a life saver on my trip to the States a few months ago. I also love saving up samples and travel sized products for travel - and the rest I decant into travel bottles - gotta leave all the space you can for new purchases!

    1. Exactly! I also feel so good finishing products, and therefore samples are a great option since it doesn't take long to finish them x
