Do you Travalo?

I simply must share one of my favourite gadgets, and I cannot believe it has taken me this long. I was in Myer once and at the counter there were some Travalos lined up and I bought one on impulse. It cost $25 and has paid for itself over and over and over. I have had mine for almost two years and it is still as good as new. They come in a range of colours and I naturally went for gold. it simply had to be done.

The concept of the travalo is simply to put it on top of your perfume and transfer the liquid across. It works really well and it is such a handbag/travel friendly option. Once it has been filled up it should give you about 50 perfume sprays which isn't bad at all.
It also has a handy window that shows you when it is time for a re-fill. I think that it is absolutely brilliant!
The Travalo is a fantastic gift to self. After all, how can we be against self-gifting? I am sure girlfriends would also appreciate this nifty invention and it keeps you smelling good all day long.

Are you a Travalo convert?

Xx I

  1. I have never seen one like that before! Looks great.

I always carry a bottle of perfume in my handbag as I have a big fear of smelling (totally unfounded but a fear all the same)!

    Will check it out!

    1. I have to admit that I also initially baulked at the price but I am so happy with my purchase. When you think of $25 over two years it makes more sense:) I am about to go on a three week trip and all I need to bring is my travalo. Although I would love one of the cute MJ Daisy floral minis x

    1. Great question Rachel, and I think you have two options. You can either fill up your Travalo with another scent (it shouldn't be mixed up too much), or you can buy a small water spritzer bottle, fill it up with water and rinse your travalo out twice. It does take a little bit of work so I think I prefer option one to be quite honest x

    1. That's very understandable V! I know what you mean with perfume, just before we took off for Sydney from the Gold Coast a lady spritzed herself full of perfume and it was very uncomfortable for us because we couldn't get away from it with some fresh air. I wish someone would follow up with some airplane ettiquette! x

    1. YES! They are brilliant Natalie. Another option you have is to buy a solid perfume. LUSH and L'Occitaine have a few good versions x
