Earlier in the week I was running an errand in
Officeworks, which is also known as heaven for stationary geeks like me. I found a
Storage Organiser and immediately saw it's potential as a beauty organiser. All for the price of $16.99. I won't lie, it's been great fun to fill it up and I wouldn't mind going back for a second organiser just to fit more into it. The drawers run really deep (longer than an A4 piece of paper) and that is a very good thing.
I placed my brushes and other beautilicious things that didn't fit in the drawers on top of the organiser. The Storage Organiser comes in black or clear and I would recommend getting the clear one since you can see what's hiding in there.
The top drawer is filled with face items including highlighters, tinted moisturisers, foundations, blushes, primers, bronzers and more. It's my go-to drawer in the morning because these are my favourite things.
The second drawer is filled with everything for my eyes. Brow kits, concealers, eye primers, eye shadows, eye liners, pencil sharpeners and mascaras.
The third drawer is filled with masks. It is easy to forget using masks so I find that if they are in my sight I use them more. Hopefully this theory will be put into practice.
The fourth, and last, drawer is filled with nail polishes and a nail polish remover. Although I thought I have no more space for more polishes, I was wrong. There is a gap in the drawer which means there is room for more. Hurray!
So this is how I am organised now. It is fantastic and I love having everything at an easy reach. What I would like to fill the second Storage Organiser with is my lippy collection and other bits and pieces. I also think this could be brilliant jewellery storage, especially for bangles and statement necklaces.

DeleteI have the exact same one from office works. Hubby got it for me a year or so ago. Its been great but now I have too much make up. I wish there was one with 4 or 5 of the big draw xo
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can imagine that it's overflowing:) The good thing with the organiser was that I needed to get rid of things to fit it all in and it was a good feeling. I don't want to hoard old makeup so it's now nice and fresh X
DeleteI've been wanting to do this but I actually have nowhere to put the organiser! What a dilemma! It's such a great idea because now that things are in plain view, it can actually encourage you to use products that you may previously not have!

DeleteI wanted to get a few of those recently but my local Officeworks didn't have them. I ended up getting 5 cute pink 3 drawer ones that were only $10 each. I have one for my eye products, two for my lip products, one for blushes and one for foundation, bronzer and random bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteBefore I got those what wouldn't fit in my dressing table was scattered all over my house. It's so much nicer having everything organized properly and I'm using products I forgot I had.

ReplyDeleteAWESOME idea! I am loving it to bits as all I do is use a small-ish drawer and two shelves in the bathroom cabinet. I REALLY need to get to Officeworks (I am a fellow stationary geek)!
