Five Beauty Products Under $13

The beautiful thing about beauty is that it does not have to be expensive. Beauty products come in any price to suit any budget, from the $2 shop to Chanel and being cheaper doesn't necessarily equal being worse quality. Today I have compiled five of my favourites which are all under the $13 mark. There is a mascara/eyebrow groomer, two lipsticks and two nail polishes.

First of all, the Australis ExtenderLash ($10.95) is a 2 in 1 product which you can use as a clear mascara or as a brow groomer. I use it to quickly set my brows into place in the morning and the result is great.
Then there is the beauty that is the Face of Australia Lip Quench Moisturising Lipstick ($9.45) in Forbidden Fruit. I used it in 30 days of lippy and I will continue to use it as I love the colour and the fact that it's got SPF 30+.

Another glossy lippy that is a long time favourite of mine, the Australis Colour Inject Lipstick ($12.95) in Salsa. The funny thing with this colour is that it can look really pink on someone and peach on others, it's the chameleon of pink lipsticks!
I have had a thing for sparkly nails lately, and Face Of Australia's Party at the Gap from the limited edition Barbados collection did not disappoint. It's a perfect and sofisticated glittery charcoal. If only coal mining was this glamorous! All this for $4.95, which is so cheap I wonder why I didn't walk away with the seven other beautiful shades.
And lucky last, for $7.95, Electric Sunset from Sportsgirl's Nail It collection. This is a one-of-a-kind colours I could not walk away from. After all, I'm only human.
None of the products I have mentioned above compromises in the quality stakes, in fact they are amazing at what they do and should be recognised as such. If I had to pick a favourite it would definitely be the Party at the Gap because I just love the colour and each coat dried in 60 seconds. The ExtenderLash brow groomer has also reduced my morning regime because I just take a quick swipe at each brow and it's done. It's like one of those 30 minute meals except it's done in 15 seconds.

Do you have a favourite beauty product that's also cheap?

Xx

    1. But cheap nail polish does not work for me, sadly. I know it's supposed to be the same stuff but it's just not for me. :(

    2. I love beauty on a budget, it's just so fun!

I prefer more expensive nail polish when the budget allows (hello Chanel) but if it is just a passing trend colour I am happy to keep it cheap X

  2. I loved the FOA polishes, I ended up having to get all the colours because they were just so cheap!
I've never actually tried the Sportsgirl polishes, I don't think I've ever actually SEEN them in the store haha so I'll have to have a better look next time, because I love the colour that you've got on! :)
Another great cheap brand is Savvy by DB from Priceline, their blushes have amazing pigmentation (well, all of their products do haha!)
Good collection though! I definitely agree that just because it's cheaper, doesn't mean it's any worse ;)
