Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette

Back in February I bought the Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette and it was love at first sight. The retail price in Australia is $99 and I got it for $79 at Sydney Airport. This is the perfect palette if you want to create dozens of smokey eyes, or just a simple look that doesn't take hours to achieve. The palette is part of the amazing Neons & Nudes collection and the Ultra Nude Palette is still available for sale.
This has become a handbag staple for me because of it's brilliance and ease of use. The big mirror is fantastic for touch-ups.

The Ultra Nude Eye Palette has six beautiful shades that blend together perfectly. Pink Chandelier is my absolute favourite and I also use Cocoa Berry as an eyeliner. Chino and Stone are Eye Shadows, Praline, Champagne Truffle and Cocoa Berry are Shimmer Wash Eye Shadows and Pink Chandelier is a Metallic Eye Shadow. The shades can be used both as dry and wet colours depending on how much impact you want to create. If you are a newbie to using eyeliner, I can definitely recommend using an eye shadow in the beginning because it is so easy! If you mess it up you can just paint over with another eye shadow colour.
Bobbi Brown also does fantastic brushes and the palette comes with a duel ended eye liner / angle eye shadow brush for easy application.
In terms of the swatches you can really see how sweet the colours are to each other. No colour wants to outshine the other with the exception of Cocoa Berry, but there always has to be an exception to the rule!
Here I am wearing a combination of Chino on the lid, Stone on top, Praline and Pink Chandelier. Cocoa Berry was used as a liner and the mascara is a sample of Bobbi Brown's Extreme Party Mascara. On the lips is OCC Lip Tar in Interlace and the geeky sweater is a sale find from Country Road.
This is actually my second nude Bobbi Brown palette, I bought my first one three years ago and used it to bits. I therefore had to re-purchase once this was released. Now I have my eye on those Sheer Neon Lip Glosses that are so beautiful and on-trend.

Are you a nude makeup lover? Do you use palettes? Do you own geeky sweaters?

Xx

    1. Yes it sure is! I haven't tried the UD Naked palettes but I do know that you get more shades with them so it depends if you want more choice? Let me know how you go Xx

  7. A Bobbi Brown nude palette has been on my wishlist forever! Glad to see it does live up to the hype. I have seen quite a few for sale on eBay if you are looking for a cheaper alternative (duty free is always a great opportunity).

    1. They are such a staple for me, my collection doesn't seem complete without it. I am scared of buying things on eBay in case they are fakes. Do you know of any reputable sellers? And I do love duty free, after all - money doesn't count in airports X
